Automatic Driver Recognition (ADR) provides the most effective proactive alert against key theft/cloning. You are provided with a small ADR fob to identify you as an authorised driver. If the engine is started and the driver tag is not present then it alerts the monitoring team so they can confirm the theft and start the recovery of the vehicle. Your smartphone can also act as a tag for driver recognition so you no longer need to carry around an extra ADR fob.
Category S5 trackers are the highest level of vehicle security available. If your insurer has informed you that you need to install an S5 tracker, this product is fully compatible.

Your smartphone can act as a tag for driver recognition. You can reduce the sensitivity of the phone tag based on your distance to the vehicle when at home or work.

Immobilisation offers an additional layer of security that is independent of the vehicle manufacturer’s in-built immobilisation that could be easily prone to attack. Customers opting for this feature benefit from two types of immobilisation:
Automatic Immobilisation
The vehicle will only start when the authorised driver possessing the ADR tag is present. This feature can be armed and disarmed within the mobile app.
Remote Immobilisation
In the event of a vehicle theft with the ADR tag, the ScorpionTrack Monitoring Team can remotely immobilise the vehicle. Preventing the engine from being restarted if automatic immobilisation has not engaged.

To be a true Stolen Vehicle Tracker (as defined and required by insurance companies) the tracker must be monitored by a 24 hour supervised monitoring centre. The subscription cost covers this service. A subscription is required for all S7 and S5 trackers.
ScorpionTrack S7, S5 and S5+ trackers are monitored 24/7, all year round, by a dedicated monitoring team who will liaise with police in the event of theft.
ScorpionTracker devices are fully transferable from one vehicle to the next, however subscriptions are tied to the vehicle.
